The DeBakey-Derra Anastomosis Vascular Clamp is specially designed to partially occlude major vessels, which may include the carotid artery, aorta, and vena cava, during vascular anastomosis. The jaws are designed with fine DeBakey serrations that ensure the surgeon can firmly but gently grasp the delicate vascular tissues, limit blood flow without complete occlusion, and cause minimal trauma. The curved hook jaw design enhances precise control and prevents slippage, while the ergonomic ring handles reduce surgeon fatigue during intricate and prolonged procedures. A mechanism automatically holds the clamp in a ratchet position for stable, hands-free operation.
